2020 The Masters Odds Update – PGA Tour Betting
Like every other professional sport – the 2019-20 PGA Tour calendar season was upended due to the still, ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Now, the biggest and most coveted tournament there is – The Masters – will take place from November 12-15 instead of its usual start in April.
Could the change in date – and weather conditions – bring an upset winner or will the game’s most elite players live up to expectations as legitimate Masters contenders? Let’s take a look at the most recent odds to win the 2020 Masters, followed by some brief analysis and a handful of the top contenders on the Golf odds board.

Ten For The Win!
Rory McIlroy +1000
While McIlroy enters the 2020 Masters coming off a T12 at the BMW Championship, followed by identical T8 finishes at the Tour Championship and last month’s US Open, the world No. 4 has never won this event in 10 appearances, though he has recorded four Top-5 finishes at Augusta. Still, McIlroy finished T21 here a year ago.
Brooks Koepka +1100
The 30-year-old Koepka hasn’t had the best run recently. The world No. 10 suffered a collapse in the final round at the PGA Championship and missed the cut in the Wyndham Championship before withdrawing from the US Open. Still, the four-time major champ finished T2 here a year ago and he’ll be well-rested and hungry.
Bryson DeChambeau +1200
The 27-year-old DeChambeau has been the talk of the golf world ever since reshaping his body into a now, massive build. The Californian ranks first in driving distance (344.4), first in eagles (28.8) and first in scoring average (66.7) DeChambeau won the US Open at Winged Foot while recording 11 Top-25 finishes in 17 events last season with nine Top-10 finishes, one second place finish and a win in the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Now, sixth in the world rankings, DeChambeau will need to manage his irons and putts in order to get the win.
Dustin Johnson +1200
The world No. 1 has been on fire for a few months now. In 14 events last season, Johnson recorded three wins, a pair of second place finishes and seven Top-10 finishes while making the cut 11 times and missing just two cuts. Johnson finished T6 in the US Open and tied for second at last year’s Masters. Johnson should contend without a doubt.
Jon Rahm +1200
In 15 events last season, the world No. 2 recorded two wins, one second place finish, one third place finish and eight Top-10 finishes. Rahm finished T23 at the US Open and has two Top-10 finishes in three appearances at Augusta in finishing fourth in 2018 and T9 a year ago.
Justin Thomas +1200
In 18 events last season, the world No. 3 racked up three wins, two second place finishes, one third place finish and a stellar, 10 Top-10 finishes. Thomas finished an encouraging T8 at the US Open and will look to improve on his T12 in 2019.
Tiger Woods +1900
In seven events last season, Woods recorded a pair of Top-10 finishes while winning the ZOZO championships, but that win was almost exactly one year ago. Woods missed the cut at the US Open, but he’s the reigning champ and has won here five times in his illustrious career as he looks to tie Jack Nicklaus’ career mark of six green jackets.
Xander Schauffele +2000
In 18 events last season, the 26-year-old recorded three second place finishes, one third place finish, seven Top-10 finishes and 16 Top-25 finishes. Schauffele finished fifth at the US Open for his ninth top-10 result in his 13 major appearances and T2 at last year’s Masters.
Webb Simpson +2800
In 14 events last season, the world No. 7 recorded two wins, one second place finish, one third place finish and eight Top-10 finishes while making the cut 12 times. Simpson finished T8 at the US Open and T13 at the Shriners Open. Simpson also tied for fifth at last year’s Masters and looks great as a value-packed +2800 pick.
Rickie Fowler +5000
In 14 events last season, the now, world No. 41 recorded a pair of Top-10 finishes and six Top-25 finishes in what was definitely a down year for the still talented 31-year-old. While Fowler finished an uninspiring T49 in the US Open and missed the cut at the Shriners Open, Fowler always seems to play well at Augusta. Fowler finished T9 a year ago, second in 2018, T11 in 2017, T12 in 2015 and T5 in 2014. He’s my long shot pick right now.
