Jack of All Trades

On Monday, ongoing rumors have Buffalo Sabres top line center Jack Eichel asking for a trade. While Eichel and the Sabres both quickly shot down the rumor, we all know the old saying that says, ‘where there’s smoke, there’s fire’. Eichel scored 36 goals and had 46 assists this season and several teams will inquire about obtaining the all-star’s services.

Boston Baked Bean!

Veteran defenseman Torey Krug’s beans are apparently completely baked in Boston MYBookie NHL betting enthusiasts! While reports this week say that Boston offered the 29-year-old star a six-year deal worth $6.5 million per year, Krug has already hinted at the fact that he’s finished taking team-friendly deals with the Bruins. Could Krug land in Vegas? I think so!

Braden Holtby On The Move

Longtime Washington Capitals goalie Braden Holtby is on the move NHL betting buffs. The 31-year-old Stanley Cup winner went 25-14-6 this past season and while he recorded the lowest save percentage of his career, Holtby’s services are in demand. The veteran net-minder is coming off a deal with a cap hit of $6.1 million and will likely get a slight raise to land with a legitimate Stanley Cup contender next season. Rumors say Holtby could land with either, Calgary, Edmonton, Carolina or San Jose.

Chicago, Vegas, Make A Deal

Earlier this week, the Chicago Blackhawks acquired forward Brandon Pirri from the Vegas Golden Knights in exchange for forward Dylan Sikura.

Calgary Set To Improve Roster

The Calgary Flames have been linked to names like Taylor Hall, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Darcy Kuemper and Jacob Markstrom in recent weeks and I suspect they will be looking to make a move for one of the four at some point in the near future.

Florida, Pittsburgh Deal

Florida dealt Mike Matheson and Colton Sceviour to Pittsburgh in exchange for Patric Hornqvist this week.

Making a Move in Minnesota?

Minnesota is apparently set to make a move as many NHL followers expect the Wild to part ways with veteran defense man Matt Dumba. Minnesota wants a top line – and second-line center and moving the talented Dumba could help them acquire at least one of those players.

Ottawa Buy-Out

The Ottawa Senators appear to be the first team that will use a buyout. Veteran left-winger Bobby Ryan is expected to be put on waivers for the purpose of a buyout after scoring a pitiful three goals and eight points in 24 games.
