USL & MLS Top 2020 Games of the Week Expert Analysis

While the NHL Stanley Cup Finals, the NBA playoffs and the opening few weeks of NFL action are all dominating the sports betting universe at the moment, there’s plenty of action taking place in both, MLS and the USL, for soccer betting enthusiasts everywhere. With that thought in mind, I’ve identified a pair of mid-week matchups in both leagues that are offering soccer betting buffs a ton of value. Let’s find out who’s on the pitch and where that value lies so you can effectively make your bets against their MLS odds & USL odds!

USL & MLS Top Games of the Week, Highlights, and Predictions

MLS Matches

Montreal Impact (5-1-6) Vs New England Revolution (3-6-3)

Montreal is in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Impact have scored 18 goals this season while allowing 20 goals defensively. New England is in seventh place in the MLS ladder with 10 goals scored and 11 allowed defensively.

New England has one win in their last five games while Montreal has won two of its last three. More importantly, the Impact will be looking for revenge for their 1-0 home loss on July 9 and I like them to get it, seeing as how New England can barely score this season.

Pick: Montreal 2 New England 1

FC Dallas (5-4-2) Vs Atlanta United FC (3-2-7)

Atlanta is in 12th place in the Eastern Conference standings with 12 goals scored and 17 conceded defensively. Dallas is in third place in the Western Conference standings. Dallas has scored 19 goals this season while allowing 12 goals defensively.

While Dallas had their four-game winning streak snapped in their 2-0 loss to Philly the last time out, Atlanta has lost two straight and is winless over their last five. Dallas has won two straight in this rivalry and will make it three in a row by getting the win in this mid-week matchup.

Pick: Dallas 3 Atlanta 1

USL Matches

Indy Eleven (7-1-5) Vs Saint Louis FC (6-3-4)

Indy Eleven is in second place in group E while St. Louis is in third place. Indy has scored 18 goals while allowing 14 defensively. St. Louis has scored 19 goals while conceding 18 defensively.

Indy will look to extract some revenge for their humbling 2-0 loss against…you guessed it – St. Louis last Wednesday. While Indy has lost three of its last four and St. Louis has won two of three, I’m going with the good ‘ol string theory to come into effect in this one as Inday gets the revenge they’re looking for!

Pick: Indy 2 St. Louis 1

Charlotte Independence (7-3-3) Vs Miami FC (2-7-3)

Charlotte is in second place in group G and has won four straight. The Independence can clinch a berth in the playoffs by beating Miami in this contest. Miami is in last place in group H and comes into this match riding a two-game losing streak. Charlotte has scored 22 goals this season while conceding 19. Miami has been limited to just 13 goals while allowing 29 defensively. Don’t think twice about this pick. Charlotte is too good – and Miami is too broken – for the Independence to lose this match, especially with a playoff berth on the line.
