NFL Week 5 Parlay Picks & Expert Analysis

The first month of the season is now officially in the books, and you have to say that none of the teams who are out to a hot start are that much of a surprise. With the way in which injuries are coming this season, it’s tough to say whether it will be those same teams on top once we get down to the final couple of weeks of the regular season. Wagering on the NFL is never easy, but with each passing week, we get a much clearer idea of what every team is about. With that in mind, let’s put together some parlay picks for Week 5 so you can bet on their NFL odds.

NFL Week 5 Parlay Picks for the 2020 Season

NFL Week 5 SU Parlay – Falcons, Colts, Texans

The fact that there are is a pair of unbeaten teams in this weeks SU picks should tell you that I am taking some chances here. This Falcons teams could just as easily be 3-1 instead of 0-4, but their inability to close out games has killed them. I think they get that first W against the Panthers this weekend.

After a bit of a wobbly start in Week 1, both the Indianapolis Colts and the Cleveland Browns have reeled off 3-straights wins. One of them will see that run come to an end this weekend and my money is on the Colts, who are 8-1 SU in their last 9 versus the Browns.

Things are going to go one of two ways in Houston after the firing of Bill O’Brien. The Texans are either going to spring to life or pack it in this season. I think they have too many weapons to give up, so I like them to open their win account with a victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

NFL Week 5 ATS Parlay – Buccaneers (-4), Cardinals (-7), Broncos (+11)

There were a lot of people who jumped off the Brady bandwagon after a poor performance in Week 1, but he has now helped the Bucs win 3 straight games. They are in as a 4-point favorite over the 3-1 Bears, who still look fragile. I am on Tampa to cover.

The Cardinals have gone stone cold with back to back losses after opening their season with a pair of wins. A game against the New York Jets, who are winless and who have failed to cover the spread this season, may be just what the doctor ordered for Arizona.

While I am taking the Broncos to cover as an 11-point dog right now, I may back off this one once we find out the status of Cam Newton. This is a spread that might well change later in the week, so keep an eye on it.

NFL Week 5 O/U Parlay – Bengals (O51), Giants (O54), Colts (O47)

The Bengals offense is beginning to come to life with rookie QB Joe Burrow at the helm, but no-one expects them to hang with Lamar Jackson and the Ravens this weekend. The Bengals have seen 6 of their last 8 go OVER, so let’s stick with that trend.

The New York Giants have not been able to put up a lot of points on anyone this season, but the Dallas Cowboys have also been bleeding points on the defensive side of the football. These two teams meet in Week 5 and I think we are looking at the OVER.

The Colts have been good on the defensive side of the football, but they are going against a Browns offense that is firing on all cylinders right now. I think the Colts may get sucked into a shootout here, which is why I am on the OVER.
